SELF-CARE WORKSHOP
This was one of the best presentations I have ever had the opportunity to attend, and I will be advocating that we bring this training in for all staff and students.
Sherrell is very personable and easy to relate to, and made all students and staff comfortable and connected.

WORKSHOPS & TRAININGS
She was very concise and knowledgeable, and answered questions so clearly it gave me new perspectives just from her answers. Very well done.

This was such a wonderful part of my day. These tools will allow me to be more informed about myself and better support others.
SARAH N. — TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE

HEATHER W. — LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
She really was encouraging. I always wanted to go to therapy but was afraid to attend. She just made me want to at least try.

Great presentation. A lot of interaction. Very informational — a lot of new information on ways to think and ways to move.
KIEREA T. — TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE
The workshop was presented very clearly. I will definitely be working on myself using some of the things that I've learned.
SHOSHANNA W. — MENTAL HEALTH 101
It was incredibly valuable and I'm hopeful it will bring positive change to our organization and our policies.
CULTURAL HUMILITY WORKSHOP
It was interactive, it was fun — I learned new things about myself and also reflected on the things I was aware of prior. I enjoyed it.

Working with Sherrell on these initiatives has been a magnificent experience.
We've collaborated on several initiatives addressing mental health for marginalized cultural groups and people of color in relation to racial trauma and the fight for social justice — the semester-long Colorism: Is the Shade Real? symposium, Let DREAMers Dream, and The Racism Exhibition conference.
She has displayed professionalism, provided knowledge and great ideas on the best methods of approach, and educated our students in their freshman and sophomore years. She shared resources and provided support to over 100 students in the audience. With her support, the students were able to find power in their vulnerability. I would highly recommend Sherrell McLean for any collaboration or initiative you may be seeking assistance with.
